Scott E. Mickle Achieves Certified Professional
Services Marketer Designation

Charlotte, NC Friday, April 11, 2008: AEC Marketing Solutions, a Charlotte-based marketing strategy firm specializing in the architecture, engineering and construction industry, has announced that Scott E. Mickle has achieved the designation of Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) from the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). Mickle is the Founder and President of the firm.

CPSMs are recognized as having the experience and knowledge to generate profitable business in the architectural, engineering, and construction marketplace. To achieve this designation, certification candidates must meet educational and experience requirements, pass a rigorous written examination, and pledge to abide by the CPSM Code of Ethics. The process validates the individual’s mastery of and ability to apply critical business development knowledge in an industry that values certification.

Mickle has over eight years of experience marketing and selling professional services in the built environment. He is an active member of SMPS serving on several national committees and as Past President of the Carolinas Chapter. He has delivered presentations on marketing and business development to the Society of Design Administrators, AIA Charlotte, APWA, SAME, and SMPS, among others. Mickle has an undergraduate degree in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
